- There are 5 classes a day, 25 classes a week (Monday through Friday). Students will be placed in either morning classes or afternoon classes, according to their Japanese ability.
- Students are eligible for the College Student Visa.
- Students with superior academic achievement and attendance are able to transfer their courses from the General Japanese course to the “Daigaku Shingaku course”, which is a preparatory course for national or public university entrance examinations. Subjects such as mathematics and English are offered in its curriculum.

Qualifications for Enrollment
- Those who have completed (or will complete) 12 years of education in schools outside Japan.
- Those who have completed a secondary education curriculum outside Japan which qualifies them for college entrance.
- Those who are acknowledged by this institute as having the equivalent of (1) and (2) above.
- Those who are 18 years of age and over.
How to Apply
- Applications and documents must be submitted to this office by the applicant or the applicant’s sponsor (guarantor). At the time of application, the guarantor is also requested to have an interview with the staff of the Japanese course.
- Applications by mail are accepted only when applicants don’t have a personal guarantor in Japan.
- Guarantors should be someone who has been residing in or around Osaka, will be able to submit the application form and complete all of enrollment procedures on behalf of the applicant, and be able to take complete responsibility of the well-being of the applicant while in Japan.

Special Notes
- Payment of tuition by installment (Fees【2】【3】【5】【6】) is possible only for students with a sponsor residing in Japan, or applicants from OECD countries, and NIES countries.
- The second installment payment【1】【2】【4】 is due around 10 months after the admission. The second installment payment 【3】【5】【6】 is due around 4 months after the admission. Students who wish to make three or more installments may inquire through the Admission Office.
- Screening and Enrollment Fees will not be returned under any circumstance.
- If the student enters university or drops out of the school and returns to his/her home country during the course period, the portion of paid tuition starting from the next term will be refunded.
- Students have to participate in the national health insurance. The insurance fee is not included in the above stated tuition costs.
- The cost of class materials is also not included in the above stated tuition costs.
- A health checkup is conducted once a year.
Short-Term Course
This is a course in which the applicant can take the same classes offered to long term students from 3 or 6 months up to one year.
- By participating in this system, students are considered “auditing students” and not “regular full-time students”. This means, no official student ID card will be issued. Further more, no student discount will be applied. However, school facilities are available to those auditing students in the same manner as “regular full-time students”.
- College Student Visa will not be issued.
