Course Features
Our policy is “To provide a high quality education to those who are highly motivated and willing to succeed.” Students are acquiring high levels of Japanese knowledge within a limited time through daily study in class, daily comprehension tests and homework assignments.
In the academic year 2009 (From April 2009 to March 2010), the average attendance rate was 97.4%. ECC students are from various countries and have various aims for their studies, however, they attend every class and do their best to improve their Japanese ability without being late or absent.
There are a variety of reasons students attend our course; to enter a Japanese University, find employment in Japan, improve general Japanese ability etc. Whatever the purpose, our course is intended for those who are seeking to improve their Japanese ability as much as possible.

GRAMMAR IV | Students learn complicated expressions through reading newspapers, novels and watching TV programs, and practice discussion and debate in the classes of “view of today’s Japan”. - There are 5 classes a day, 25 classes a week (Monday to Friday). Students will be placed in either morning classes or afternoon classes, according to their Japanese ability.
- Students are eligible for the College Student Visa.
- Students with superior academic achievement and attendance are able to transfer their courses from the General Japanese course to the “Daigaku Shingaku course”, which is a preparatory course for national or public university entrance examinations. Subjects such as mathematics and English are offered in its curriculum.
