First calligraphy of the year writing event
The first event in the new year was the “First calligraphy of the year writing event”!
This year`s theme was “My favorite Japanese word”.
Although the participants tried to write their own favorite word, the Chinese New Year celebration was close, so “Good fortune” kanji was quite popular.
This year the event was as lively as always and gathered nearly 70 masterpieces to display at the school hall.
Which calligraphy writing to display was decided by the results of the poll.
So, what were the best, we wonder?
