ECC Yamaguchi Gakuen and Go! Go! Nihon collaborative project “International exchange party”
Even the school’s cherry blossoms warmly welcomed the exchange between 20 Go! Go! Nihon international students and 30 ECC Japanese students.
Saturday, April 15th at ECC, we held an international cultural exchange party between our Japanese ECC students and international students who came to Japan through Go! Go! Nihon.
First off, in order to break the ice, we started the party with a game, having the foreign students and the Japanese students stand in front of each other and introduce themselves. Newer students who were still struggling with Japanese tried their best to communicate with the Japanese students by using single words, by speaking English or by using gestures. The Japanese students were more than glad to participate in the conversations and to listen to the foreign students’ Japanese.
Afterwards, everyone sat down around tables and enjoyed a casual conversation. Here at ECC, there are a lot of Japanese students interested in international exchanges and, for this reason, it is a school with a lot of opportunities for international students to put their studies to the test. At ECC, we believe that the key to success while studying in Japan as a foreigner, is the interaction with Japanese people.
