The School Festival, Chikyu-sai. Running a food booth selling Thai-style takoyaki and Taiwanese chicken mushroom soup
International students in the Japanese course had a food booth in the Chikyu-sai, which is an ECC college festival, again this year. The members of the student staff had a meeting to prepare every week since the beginning of November, where they made their menus and decided the name of their booth. They were really hard workers all the time, and also, they were able to sell their dishes using their Japanese language skills proactively on the day. They looked a little different from how they did in the classroom. We are proud of them.
We have donated part of the profits from the sales to an ECC donation program named “Save the Earth” campaign. We hope our work will help people in need.
