Watermelon splitting contest
Toward the end of the summer, we held our great “suikawari” watermelon-splitting contest. Representatives from every class, with their eyes covered, tried to split a watermelon with a wooden rod. The class who managed to split the watermelon in the cleanest way won the competition.
This year prize was a watermelon.
